Contract monitoring for small businesses

Never get trapped by a contract you forgot about.

ClauseWatch reads your vendor and client contracts, then warns you before an auto-renewal locks you in, a price increase kicks in, or two agreements quietly contradict each other.

The problem

Contracts don't hurt you when you sign them. They hurt you later.

Surprise auto-renewals

A software plan or service contract rolls over for another year because the cancellation window closed months ago.

Hidden price escalations

A small clause lets the vendor raise fees every year. Nobody notices until the invoice arrives.

Contracts that contradict each other

Your master agreement says one thing, a later order form says another. When there's a dispute, that gap costs you.

How it works

From a folder of PDFs to clear warnings, in four steps.

  1. 1

    Upload your contracts

Drag in PDFs, Word files, or scans. Bulk upload works fine, too.

  2. 2

    AI extracts key clauses

ClauseWatch finds terms, renewal dates, notice periods, pricing, and payment conditions.

  3. 3

    Dates and risks get flagged

Deadlines go on your calendar. Risky or conflicting clauses are highlighted with the exact source text.

  4. 4

    You get alerts in time

Reminders arrive well before each deadline, so you can cancel, renegotiate, or renew on purpose.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How do you keep my contracts secure?

Every file is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256 through AWS KMS). Access is limited to the people you invite, and every view is logged. Your documents are never used to train AI models, and you can delete them at any time.

What file types can I upload?

PDF (including scanned PDFs), Word documents (.docx), and images such as JPG and PNG. Scanned and photographed pages are converted to text automatically.

How accurate is the clause extraction?

ClauseWatch is very good at finding dates, notice periods, pricing terms, and renewal language, and it always shows the exact source text next to each finding so you can check it in seconds. Like any AI tool, it can miss or misread things, especially in poor-quality scans, so we recommend a quick review of anything important.

Is this legal advice?

No. ClauseWatch flags terms and dates so you know what to look at. It does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for a lawyer. For decisions with legal consequences, please consult a qualified attorney.
